Nicole L. was the sarcastic, sharp-tongued Employee No. 44A of the Fourth Cafe. Having been with the Cafe in various forms since 1995, she currently works as the Corpse Reviver distributor.

Biography

Nikki's first interaction with the coffee business was in 1995, when she, alongside her twin brother and then-girlfriend, began snooping around the First Cafe, drawing the attention of the original Owner. Their interest in the industry led to him offering them a job, with Nikki taking on the codename Employee #1313, and using the nickname "Scry". In 1997, along with the rest of the First Cafe, Nikki became one of the "Anathemas" after Satan was defeated.

After the First Cafe went up in flames, and with the "death" of the original Owner, Nikki left the cafe entirely, due to a bad breakup with the new Owner, though there were likely other factors at play. She returned to the industry in 2001, rejoining the Second Cafe under the name "Marocchino", as "Red Eye" needed a replacement. Though it was likely awkward to work alongside her ex, she remained until the Cafe closed in 2004.

During her time in the Second Cafe, she met "Carajillo" and, after he quit working in the fast food industry, he, along with two others joined up with Nikki to found a new Cafe and Diner in Palm Beach, Florida. At some point, Jean had bestowed her with a piece of the mantle of Eight, - though she later split this piece among Julius, Jericho and Joy - allowing her to officially franchise this location. With a small loan from her parents, the Palm Beach Cafe and Diner opened in October 2016, serving their coffee Darker than ever before.

The Palm Beach Cafe would later close in September 2019, after getting into trouble with the courts. The former Floridian employees would soon join the Third Cafe, helping them with their Cafe Crisis. After Muldra Yonomo's hostile takeover of the CaD, Nikki would become an employee of the Fourth Cafe, using the name Employee No. 44A.

After the Fourth Cafe's Otherworldly Adventures were over, the Birds were once more singing, and Nikki was taken to Limbo, like she was supposed to be before God disappeared. Because of this, Manager No. 5 and the newly-minted No. 2 spent nine months searching through America, Canada and elsewhere to find her. In this time, she began a relationship with Ex-No. 26 and, when they found her, she had decided to die, in order to become the Prince of Lust, replacing Asmodeus who had recently been killed.

Currently, Nikki is mostly doing her job as the Corpse Reviver distributor, though she is experiencing issues, both from a rival trying to muscle in on her operation, as well as from her own grandfather, though the CaD have been assisting her recently.

Personality

Nikki has a rather acerbic personality, with a dry sense of humour. Few things seem to phase her, and she takes a lot in stride. She is also well-known for her numerous relationships and flings, though she appears to be somewhat of a troublesome person to be in a relationship with. That said, her skills with haberdashery have served the Cafe well for years, and her current position gives them another Canadian ally.

Ties That Bind

• Manager No. 2 is her twin brother, while Employees No. 26 and 44 are her parents. They all seem to get along well enough.
• Has previously dated both Manager No. 1 and Manager No. 5, though both relationships ended on rather bad terms, and there is still some lingering mutual tension.
