Also known as Crystal, Joy is one third of the TriCaD in charge of the Florida Branch of the Fourth Cafe and Diner. As Manager No. 6, her work tends towards the more esoteric side of the Cafe, using her Augury abilities to help predict the future of the Cafe and Diner.

Biography

Joy's early life was rather difficult, to say the least, having grown up around a fast food joint. She was specifically born and raised by the Yellow Flame to become a vessel for the Wicked. On the eve of the ritual intended to perform this, Jericho Myerscough, in his capacity as an agent of IRIS, stopped the ritual. However, he was slightly too late, and most of the Cult had self-immolated, leaving only Joy as the vessel and Julius Mendoza, who was intended to bring back the cult after the ritual, alive. The three, trapped inside a burning temple, were forced to make a deal with the Wicked, each of them becoming its' envoy within the Sphere. After this, Joy, Manager No. 5 and Manager No. 4 found themselves together, and set out into the world alone.

At some point, they came across Ex-Employee No. 44A, and together they set up their own branch of the Cafe and Diner, in Florida. The Palm Beach Cafe and Diner primarily fought against Miss. Umbra and his Dark intentions. Though they stopped him in 2019, this came with a heavy price, and they were barred from running a Cafe and Diner franchise. The Palm Beach CaD were forced to work under the supervision of the Long Beach CaD, or Third Cafe; this merger was later formalised with Muldra Yonomo's takeover of the Cafe and Diner, during which Joy gained the title Manager No. 6.

Though Joy has taken more of a backseat after the Cafe Crisis, she has been a reliable presence, and her readings have proved invaluable in guiding the Fourth Cafe into the future.

Personality

Joy is a generally laid-back, upbeat person, who tends not to worry too much about the little things. She is cheerful, carefree and pretty happy with her life; most likely because every day after she turned 18 is an extra day she was never meant to live, so she sees every day as a blessing.

Ties That Bind

• Very close to Managers No. 4 and 5 due to their shared history.
• As with the rest of the Florida Cafe, gets along well with Employee No. 224.
• Is one of the envoys of the Wicked in the Sphere, though she spends hours every day meditating against its influence.
