Trusted Associate/Employee #71/Employee No. 17
Despite his recent unsavory connections, No. 17 has always been a key member of the Cafe and Diner and was one of its three founders. For his playlist, I went with a lot of stomp and holler, dark cabaret, and gothic Americana to really capture the essence of our strange and sometimes sinister magician out of New Orleans. His songs attempt to look at his internal struggle of right and wrong, fair and rigged, accepted and ultimately taboo.
