Kijan sa? One of the greatest mysteries of the Universe is solved just like that. Well, solved in a sense, eh? Of course, this only brings greater questions than it does answers, but the answers are still rather provocative, no? When Bird had Eden ripped from the fabric of the Universe, its fundamental aspects scattered across the Otherside—its form becoming the Ouroboros, its oceans swirling into the Black Tide, and its sky? If Eve is to be believed, the sky of Eden became the Caelus, which has remained tucked away in the caverns of the Infernus.

As I mentioned, this brings about so many questions, both in the nature of which Bird removed Eden from the Universe and also the properties ascribed to the Caelus. When Eden was still part of the Universe, were its denizens blessed with the power to manifest their every whim and desire? Suppose Eve is successful in reclaiming Eden’s wayward sky. Would it still retain its powers of creation? And would this be the final piece that brings Eden back to its original state? Its form and ocean have already been reclaimed, in a sense, after all.

My mind is simply abuzz with the possibilities and, unfortunately, the repercussions such a revelation brings. Eve has been ruthless in returning her plane, her home, to its “proper” state, and it is hard to argue a missing sky wouldn’t be a large piece of that. And, it seems she has found a way to rot the boundary, which keeps the Caelus in its place. While I can’t say for certain, it would seem that it is the light of the Topside that is primarily responsible for its confinement. Seeing as it was Bird who tore Eden apart, it would make sense He’d go so far as to keep its sky locked away, too. So, if Eve can turn that light off and black out the heavenly sun, I suspect nothing would stop her from tearing out the Caelus and returning it to her plane.
