Summary of Receipt
Twain, being part of the CaD around the time of the inconsistency, agrees that something's off. She suspects they might have shifted Cycles ever since Fate was killed, so the Cycle had to be corrected. But that means that there's an Otherman - and it can't be Jean-Marc. So there's another Otherman wandering around. Or perhaps an Other-Otherman.

Oh, wow, that is weird. Super weird. I was there, and those receipts are not at all what happened. Even weirder is January 2020 and April 2020 seem to be fine. So… what the heck happened? Blackwood might be right that Jenny did something weird to the receipts. But I know Jenny worked really hard to ensure that the receipts were as accurate as possible. So… I guess that must mean Dolos did something. Though that also doesn’t really line up because Dolos already did something. That’s why there was a… what was it called… why am I totally blanking on its name.
Oh crap. I think we’ve shifted cycles. I guess killing three of the oldest Elders might’ve done that. Well, Fate, in particular. What was that one weird Archive called… come on… Oh! Right! “Sequence II.” So, I think, based on the weird fake receipts in Bad Omens/A Key of Three in the previous cycle, we got shifted out of another cycle by Dolos. So, the Prime cycle is now— oh. Right. There isn’t a Prime cycle now that Fate is dead. Uh, our cycle, I guess. The cycle we are currently in has shifted over at least twice. First by Dolos to avert a wipeout via the Black Tide and again with the death of Fate…? Maybe? It’s hard to pin down when or why a cycle shifts.
I’m sure other smaller things have shifted, but I’m guessing February and March 2020 got hit the hardest because they were already out of place. Oh. Wait. If a cycle got corrected, that means there’s an Otherman again. And if it isn’t Jean-Marc… Oh, that could be a serious problem for our plans. Though I don’t feel like taking a trip Topside anytime soon to meet our Other-Otherman. We should probably make a note to figure out who this Other-Otherman is and if they’ll let us work on Netzach. Who am I kidding? That absolutely will not fly, lmao. So, I guess we need to figure out how to flush out the Other-Otherman.
