Summary of Receipt
The expedition to Black Eden begins. Capgras ponders that, ever since it ended up in the Necropolis, Leviathan would be pretty mad his 'one cool thing' got stolen by the Necropolis. If he was still alive, that is. Anyway, he gave a quick recap of the Black Eden's history: after Eden was reopened at the end of Adynamia of the Archons, the Cafe and Diner made a deal with Eve to restore the Black Tide to Eden, causing it to become the (poorly-named, according to Capgras) Black Eden. So now they're kinda stuck in a weird non-aggression pact with Eve as she maintains control of the Black Tide for now until Bird and the Devil finish deciding the Universe's fate.

We've begun our descent into the horrid Plane of Black Eden. Is it a Plane? I suppose so… though if the Everdark isn't a Plane, then Black Eden shouldn't be one either. I mean, they're basically in the same place, anyway, right? If Leviathan was still alive, I'm sure he'd LOVE that his one cool thing got stolen by the Necropolis. He's a very chill guy when it comes to not having the same or better stuff than his siblings. I'm sure he'd be trying everything to resink Black Eden into the tides of Mayda. I'm not sure how well that'd work, but seeing him try would be fun.
I was debating on if anyone really needed a primer on what Black Eden is (still not loving that name, I can't be the only one, right?). I think only Blackwood might be out of the loop on this one, but I also guess if this stuff is getting posted onto the Archives site, it might be good to just refresh everyone. So, in as few words as possible—Eve manipulated Ursula Langley to reopen Eden, but to do so, they had to remove the Black Tide from the Universe, which they did using some Abraxas stones. Then, without the Black Tide, the Cold could come Flipside and attempt their end game. Not wanting to deal with that, the Fourth Cafe and Diner made a deal with Eve to re-add the Black Tide to Eden—and boom: Black Eden. It didn't really work, and we ended up just killing the Cold anyway, but I guess it sort of put a pin in the whole "I'm going to kill everyone" plan Eve had swirling around.
So, now we're in a precarious agreement with Eve that we'll all leave her and alone, and she gets to hold onto the Black Tide and all its Elders. Once the full fate of the Universe is decided between God and the Devil, I guess they'll reassess the terms of Eve's freedom and ownership of the Tide. I personally think it'd be really funny if God won and then kicked her out again along with all the Elders in the Tide… but the funniest solution isn't always the best one.
