Summary of Receipt
Pathologist and Nine conclude that the Kings of Roses are apparently trying to withdraw the Blood of the Universe, possibly in an attempt to revive the Seven Princes of Hell - after all, Otherworld, Limbo, Everdark, and so on haven't been affected. Though they haven't checked out the other four Planes of the Otherside yet. Pathologist un-volunteers himself for that, since he'll be busy trying to cleanse Rune of...well, Rune. Randall Rune, to be precise, leaving behind Katherine Wade.

After some discussion with Nine, I believe we’ve made a rather troubling discovery. There is no doubt about it now—the Kings of Roses are attempting to pull out the Blood of the Universe. To what end, it is hard to say, but my theory is that whatever it is they are trying to do somehow involves resurrecting or perhaps even replacing the seven slain Princes of Hell. According to Nine’s data so far, the Kings haven’t attempted to draw Blood from the Otherworld, Limbo, Everdark, Eden, Heaven, or the Flipside. So far, the only anomalous Planes have been those of the Otherside.
While we can’t say for certain that the Kings are trying to replace or resurrect the Princes, it’s clear that they are attempting to do something with the Blood of their Planes. To fully uncover their plot, we’ll most likely need to gather some additional data from the Planes Nine had yet to visit: Ouroboros, Esterskald, Mayda, and the Amaymon/Necropolis. Of course, there is only one Nine, but there are quite a few of us. Perhaps we can quicken his data collection by visiting these Planes ourselves?
Not me, of course. No, I am far too busy working on our Soul cleansing solution for Rune. Which, in a roundabout way, still helps, mind you. If we can rid Rune’s soul of Rune’s ambitions, I doubt Katherine would still have the desire to do whatever it is she is planning to do with the Blood of the Universe. Then again, we could be wrong. Perhaps Rune’s ambitions faded away a long time ago, and Katherine is simply inherently Machiavellian. But we won’t know until we try to cleanse her soul in the first place.
