Blackwood Trivia | 1 Word

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: This one is pretty tricky. The 'praying' refers to this (fictional) detective's last name, while the 'disorder and confusion' refers to a character trait he has. The answer, by the way, is the name of the show he's from.
Clue 2: Which people 'pray'? Think less of the 'mainstream' clergy, and more of the...isolated type.
Clue 3: His disorder is quite an obsession, you could say.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Monk
Explanation: Monks usually pray, and the character Adrian Monk has OCD, making him fearful of disorder and confusion.

Summary of Receipt

Blackwood mentions her other motive for joining the CaD: to help get her uncle, Felix Blackwood (well-known as 71 in the First Cafe and 17 in the Fourth) out of the Bingo Cult. Sure, he joined it himself, but he's probably not in the right state of mind - ever since he retired, in fact. Also, she really doesn't want him to further taint the Blackwood family's reputation (presumably a reference to him defecting from the Zulus). She also warns them that, even with Lucifer's death, Felix is still one of the strongest warlocks alive - combined with the Blackwood Manor, he has a lot of very dangerous and powerful magic. Like the Teal Room, for example, which is probably where the Bingo Cult's actually based in.

Status: Secret
Subject: Bingo Cult

I hope my password wasn’t too tricky! If you’re reading this, I’m glad you made it. So… like I was saying the other day, I had another reason for wanting to help Capgras & Twain directly. The Bingo Cult has my great uncle in its grasp. On the one hand, I truly believe he joined of his own volition. I know he wanted to be there with them. He feels he has unfinished business. On the other hand, he is way too old to jump back into things. He had to retire from the Cafe and Diner because he wasn’t able to keep up, so why would he think he could dive headfirst into a cosmic nihilism cult?

I mean… I don’t think he’s entirely in the right state of mind anymore, either. Ever since his retirement, he’s been in a sort of spiral, and I fear that he’s taken Bingo’s nihilism a little too close to heart. I’d like to get him out of that cult and back to New Orleans, where he belongs… but… I also want to make sure he doesn’t do anything to further taint the Blackwood name. We’ve only just begun to crawl out of our blacklisting, and with the replacement of Shaka, we have an even better chance to finally be something more than just “traitors.” I love my great-uncle, but he has caused a lot of problems for our family, and it seems like he’s not ready to stop causing problems.

While my great uncle isn’t much of a threat physically, I’m sure you’re all aware of his magical prowess. It’s been weakened significantly since Lucifer’s death, but he’s still probably one of the strongest warlocks alive. Plus, he was given Blackwood Manor in his parents’ will, which gives him access to seriously old and powerful magics such as the Teal Room. …Teal Room. Of course. That must be where the Bingo Cult’s “Sacred Hall” actually is! Oh… that makes things difficult. I’ll make sure to let Capgras & Twain know.
