RECEIPT AS OF: 7/04/01
BARISTA ON DUTY: CARAJILLO
RECEIPT FILED AS: WKF-01
Who cares about Mistress? She is irrelevant. What matters is who struck the match. Who set the Cafe and Diner on fire? Who birthed such wonderful flames? What color did they dance? What was the composition of their fuel, combustion, and completeness? Did they burn bright blue, a complete potent flame feeding on gases kept deep below? Or perhaps they ignited bright red spewing noxious fumes as the fire struggled to burn everything in its sight. Could it be that the flames glowed a luminous and sulfureous yellow? Blessing the earth with their loving embrace?

I didn’t join the Cafe and Diner to chase nightclub owners around. I joined the Cafe and Diner because of how beautifully the first one burned. I want to see that fire again like a moth to a flickering flame. I want to feel that extraordinary warmth. Hotter than the hottest cup of coffee. There is no heat from the cold dead. And so, it is a waste of our time. Besides, we know that Mistress didn’t strike the match, right? She wouldn’t. She couldn’t. She doesn’t understand the gift of fire. So, we need to find who does understand such a tremendous blessing.

You don’t want this Cafe to fall to the same fate as the last, correct? Well, it is only a matter of time before the one who struck the match strikes again. You don’t start a fire that exquisite without beginning another. And another. And another until the whole world is engulfed in smothering passionate flames.

So. I won’t help with this Mistress business. I don’t see any value in it for me. However, I see value in finding the one who struck the match for you and for me. You want to keep your new Cafe safe from the oncoming blaze, correct?
