Eve began to create herself. When the dandelions in her garden were done flowering, she would pick them carefully from the ground and blow their pappi to the wind. As the seeds of her flowers spread, they gave form and life to Eve's every idle thought. Some ideas were better than others, naturally. Eve's creations were sometimes beautiful, sometimes terrifying, but most often—mundane. Boring.

As her ideas drifted through the air of her Utopia, they took form as animals, plants, monsters, and mechanisms. In time, Eden had transformed from a perfect Utopia of endless green hills to a bustling garden of boundless imagination and variety. However, ideas overtime fade, and so too did Eve's many creations. In time, they would rot, wilt, rust, and die. They were not yet perfect—but Eve could change that, all it would take is the right idea.

Eve blew out a single white pappus into the sky and slowly it formed into a magnificent fountain. The water within it flowed continuously without end—and so too would the ideas Eve baptized in its pure sparkling basin. Not every idea was worth saving, of course, but the few that were would become immortalized in the fountain. And Eve was happy, more than happy, she was proud. She felt like she had finally cracked perfection. She could create as she pleased and keep only the best and brightest of her ideas, and over time, surely things would remain perfect.

At first Eve would only grant immortality to a scarce few of her creations. Only the best of the best. But as her garden grew, so too did her greed. Creation after creation, pappus after pappus, Eve began forming her ideas directly into the fountain's waters—perfection be damned. Eve wanted more. More than she could possibly have. She wanted a new idea. Everything she could create in Eden was just another piece of her own mind. Even with a garden now full of life and motion—nothing really changed. Nothing ever changes.
