Summary of Receipt

26 writes a recap of the Williams incident. She's been handled not-so-ideally by a certain old customer of theirs. Though there's been a new customer resurfaced in the area, Mr. Mayne, who's drawn the attention of a strange cryptid investigator. She and 71 will stay around and handle that as well. Lastly, there's been some pictures of Williams taken by the patrons (the people who alerted the CaD to Williams), so 53 will likely need to spread some disinformation on that.

RECEIPT #005
DATE: 1/19/96
EMPLOYEE #26
Tab Paid for TOWH care of #26 and #71

Well… that didn’t go exactly as expected. We made an attempt to serve Mrs. Williams her replacement order, but I suppose we were beaten to the punch. I believe I can say that Mrs. Williams’ tab was paid for in full by a friend of a friend and an old customer of ours. It seems she has been picking up our slack and serving customers for us—though her service is brusque, to say the least. We didn’t even have a chance to help Mrs. Williams out before she had a cup of unwanted coffee shoved in her face. So… we’re done in the Big Sky Country.

Well—not exactly. The patrons who originally brought this tab to our attention have another order they’d like us to fill while we’re in the area. They were very nondescript with the details, but it seems like there’s an aggressive coffee slinger looking to take advantage of a customer over in Equality. The customer in question is Mr. Mayne, and unlike Mrs. Williams, I can confidently say he’s just a little guy. Mr. Mayne’s not going anywhere anytime soon, but it sounds like if this coffee slinger gets their way, he’ll be up and about in no time.

I also saw a few… unwanted pictures of Mrs. Williams in our patrons’ possession. That’s unsurprising, seeing as they did attempt to serve her before we got her. We conveyed the importance of maintaining the proper atmosphere of a Cafe and Diner… but I’m worried that once we head out to Equality, those pictures will be in fast circulation. We’re going to need a Blur on those photos, just in case. I’ll have #71 fill in some more details regarding our Mr. Mayne case tomorrow once we hit the road again.
