Summary of Receipt

26’s rather happy about the Langley family reunion. He also lets the CaD know that, should the entire CaD try to get Malachi’s stone by force, they’d have maybe a five-percent chance at best, even factoring in the entire Last Cafe.

Isn’t this exciting! A big ol’ family reunion! Of course, the circumstances are somewhat bleak, but would it really be a Langley family reunion if the world wasn’t on the verge of ending? Plus, it’s been too long since I’ve seen everyone together; we should do these things more often. Now we just have the tricky task of actually getting everyone together in one place. As for myself, Solomon, and Abner, that should be easy enough. Malachi, too, assuming we can get him to come along. And Maggie and Ursula once we find them.

Damaris and Parthenia should be a walk in the park, considering they’re already right where they need to be. There’s an 80% chance Enoch and Antionette will also RSVP without too much of a problem. There will be paperwork, no doubt, but we should have enough time to fill that out and get them settled. Now Jet and Laz might be a bit tougher to spring. I’ll have to check in with the Palm Beach branch to see what they have planned out. And all that would leave is Theodosia, which could be tricky due to her leg situation, but travel-wise it’s very doable.

Of course, we could also just take Malachi’s stone and skip all of this. Though I don’t know if any of us could grab it from him. If Abner and Solomon aren’t sure about it, I know I shouldn’t be sure about it either. I’d say the chances of success would be around .005%. Maybe closer to 1-5% if the Last Cafe got involved. Those aren’t great odds, especially considering that’s with No. II, No. III, No. IV, No. V, and No. VI. In any case, I think a family reunion will be fun. Sure, it’s a bit more work, but my pumpkin has the situation under control.
