Summary of Receipt

Twain decides to take Blackwood over to England to meet the leader of the Cult of Personality. Unfortunately due to the weird timezones, the Zulus (read: Twain) haven't read quite a few reports by 'Star' (an IRIS agent?), though she does list some information they have on the cult. And since one was signed by 'Oracle Death' - IRIS' equivalent of Alfa - it's a pretty big deal.

I think Cappy already mentioned it, but we have one more cult that’s in the “danger zone.” Officially (as official as a Star intel report can get), they are called the Cult of Personality, and their cult leader is currently unidentified. Unfortunately for us, they are the only cult on our list that isn’t located somewhere in the 48 contiguous states. They’re allllll the way across the pond in always sunny England. It makes keeping tabs on them a lot trickier, especially as the Star reports come in at such weird times for us. So I look at them, go back to sleep, and then forget I even saw it the next day.

So… little whoops… we’re like six or seven reports behind. The good news is that this Cult of Personality hasn’t done anything particularly dangerous or whatever. Though, on the side of bad news, one of the reports was signed by Oracle Death… which is like their version of Alfa… so… we really should get on that, huh? Also, this is the first cult-cult we’ve gotten to deal with. The Bingo Cult is like an edgy sad dude club. The Kings of Roses has closed membership, and The Hyperion Cult is sort of a cult though we haven’t gotten any confirmation that they have any tangible followers, but the Cult of Personality? Over 200 members in Southern England. Now THAT is a cult.

From what Star, Death, and Sun have uncovered, the Cult of Personality operates on three tenants: Love Each Other, Love Yourself, and Love to Love. So, they’re only a few steps away from live, laugh, loving each other. In addition to their tenants, the cult believes heavily in manifestation and visualization à la the Secret. No, not like Secret, but like the book the Secret. Now, this all sounds harmless… until you hear what they are trying to manifest. In any case, I’m taking Blackwood to Newhaven to see if we can’t arrange a chin wag with this Cult of Personality.
