Having seen the first few pages of the RRBT, its title, and considering what No. 62 said, I think it’s pretty clear we’ve got one last drink to add to our Québécois menu: London Fogs. The Achegloom. A whole new type of customer has seemingly sprung out of nowhere, once again defying everything we thought we knew about the coffee trade. If we end up with another secret Plane of the Otherworld, I’m going to lose my mind.
Anyway, No. 62 is probably right—London Fogs must pair well with Corpse Revivers. That means almost every drink has a match now, except for our specialty cocktail, Snake Oil—which… could still get a partner drink, but first, we need to figure out who added London Fogs to the menu. And how did they do it?
It’s pretty safe to assume, based on what No. 1124 saw in the Freezer and what we already know about the Corpse Revivers, that the Morbid King likely had a hand in this. I’d even go as far as to guess he’s solely responsible for putting this new drink on our menu. And whoever this "Lana" is—the one who wrote (or rewrote?) the RRBT—she’s clearly working with him, figuring out how to use the London Fog drinkers against the Corpse Reviver drinkers.
Mr. White told No. 323 (Hi, by the way—glad you’re back! We really need to catch up sometime) that he’s never met this “Lana.” In fact, he never met anyone at all to broker this book deal. The books just appeared, along with some of the items he still needed to retrieve—on the condition that he’d print more copies. And those copies? He swears they were just 56 blank pages. But… that doesn’t seem to be the case now, does it?
