Summary of Receipt

Due to the outer regions and Cusps going weirdly, all of Astoria's transportation to those places has been cut off, so they can't even reach the Valley of Gilded Thorns. Silenziosa suggests using Mercutio's Public Keys - or a combination of them - to access the Infernus-Hauntaurskald Cusp. Alternatively, they could just...walk from Vile City, since Zach Rannagom's been distracted against Cain's forces and the Kings' plans. Lastly, they could just use one of Shaka's miracles, or even 'a certain folly'.

As mentioned by the Pathologist, our path forward has become an increasingly difficult one. All Agency transportation borders and cusps have been cut off due to the increasing uncertainty in those regions. However, we still have one method of transportation that the Agency can’t cut off: Mercutio’s Public Keys. Though I doubt Mercutio has a Public Key centered exactly where we need to go, I wonder if it would be practical or possible to augment two of his current keys into one… unified key. On its own, I doubt such a combination would work, but with my own special touch, I believe I could get something such as that to work.

Alternatively, we could simply walk to the Valley from the Vile City. Though such a journey would surely be arduous and unnecessarily dangerous. Not impossible, mind you. From what I’ve heard from Ned, the city has actually fallen into an unusual lull. Perhaps because its ruler, Zach Rannagom, has found himself increasingly tied up in the machinations of the Kings… or perhaps he has been busy pushing back against Niam’s forces who seek to reclaim the city. Either way, we can take advantage of this doldrum before it slips once more into bedlam.

If neither of those methods is suitable, I suppose it would take a miracle to get us there. Though, as I’ve previously mentioned, I have no idea what miracles might suit the plans of Shaka. I know that at least one of them provides a level of transportation, but it might be ill-suited to our current situation. Should a miracle not come through… we might also find use in a certain folly, or at least the product thereof. Though we shouldn’t pester more than we need to… It risks making you two look weak. Well, weaker, I suppose.
