RECEIPT #001
DATE: 4/05/96
EMPLOYEE #62

So, to catch everyone back up to speed, our Nicaraguan Coffee Seller, Augustine, is potentially attempting to get in touch with our ex-#35. Now, there is the obvious issue of her being dead, though we never really confirmed that. And there is no better coffee to wake the dead than that sourced from Nicaragua. However, whether or not ex-#35 is actually dead or not doesn’t matter so much as where she was last seen, Dracula Drive. And the last time I saw Dracula Drive was, well, supposed to be the very last time anyone would have seen it.

However, Dracula Drive’s disappearance may or may not be such an issue if Mr. Mayne can act as a… conduit of sorts. How would he go about doing that? I have no idea. #44’s been researching that. There is a lot of mystery surrounding Mr. Mayne, though it seems Augustine and his associates Abigail and Mrs. Aka have cracked some of those mysteries, or enough to get ex-#35 back. As for why they would even bother chasing this ghost, according to what we can only assume is the truth—they want someone with more vision than they currently have. Vision, which is equal to, and perhaps greater than, our current #35. No offense, #35.

As for what we can do, I think… well, I’ll see if I can track down Dracula Drive this coming Wednesday. There are some… tough memories attached to that place. Dr. Crow made sure of that time and time again. Though, with Dr. Crow out of the picture, I’m not sure anyone could actually find Dracula Drive again. When he died, he took it with him, at least as I understand it. Sure, Dr. Crow didn’t… “make” Dracula Drive so much as he took control of it. But he was the only one who knew how to take control of it—so we’re still at an impasse. I’ve got a few things I can try, but it’ll be like trying to get lightning to strike twice.
