Summary of Receipt

Manager 0 leaves a receipt full of incredibly suspicious numbers. Satan's portrait in 17's manor has been safeguarded, and he says to ignore them in favour of reaching the End, since the prize is apparently the most important thing right now.

I’m glad to see everyone has been keeping busy in our absence. Since the crisis, I’ve always felt uncomfortable being away from the Cafe. Though it is reassuring to know that you all can handle yourselves and then some. Regardless we should be flying back on flight #141114 at 1:01 PM sharp, and we should be in around 5:02 if we’re lucky. I must say impressive work with Miss. Ojai and doubly so for securing the Thunderbolt. As for No. 17, No. 5, and myself, well, I would say our business in New Orleans was at the very least a half success.

Now I know there has been some upstir about what we were doing here and, more importantly, if it relates to the alleged portrait of Padre Santos. A portrait which, if rumors are to be believed, would be the final resting place of sorts for Padre’s soul. If such a portrait of an esteemed former clergy member would exist, I assure you, it would be safe from any number of disco dancing customers. That said… it would seem we are far from being out of the woods. Three down, ten to go, and I doubt they will stop trying. Of course, we have no time to waste with these 10 Orange Juice drinking aggressors as we have more pressing business to attEND.

And on that note, while I still have no idea what we are getting ourselves into, we are at least one step closer, even if it feels as if we are 14 or 16 steps away still. 16? No, that can’t be right. 15 at most. Next, we need to find and secure this “Helm.” While the first two pieces were easy enough to retrieve (ignoring the Elderly and the late check-out fees of the Hotel totaling $66.11!) I can’t imagine the final piece will be as easy to procure, especially if it is indeed hidden somewhere in Quebec. And while I don’t know exactly what lies in store—I at least have some idea of what “prize” awaits us, and needless to say, nothing else is as important right now. Oh? My apologies, earlier I got our flight number wrong. It should be #14102. It is fun to do the classics again, no?
