Just like old times, huh?
Padre Santos and his hellish parish down in Long Beach are trying to sell their coffee "tax-free." We can’t let that happen, even if our overall sentiment towards the Biggest Bad has softened ever so slightly. It doesn’t matter what he’s like as a person—the destruction he brings along with him spells the end of everything we know. Plus, like his wife (ex-wife?), being out of the picture for so long can drive a person a little mad.
The point is, it seems that Padre is working with Willow DeWeaver to free his dad and wage some sort of war against the Bird. Even if that all "worked out" and the Bird didn’t just fly away as usual, none of us want to be around for a showdown between them. It’s apocalyptic, no matter how you slice it. So, we need to stop them. Long Beach is already handling the Willow side of things, so the rest of us will focus on Padre. But to stop him, we need to penetrate his defenses, namely his three latest clergy members: Miss Fitch, Miss Janos, and Miss Cece.
Of the three, I believe Miss Janos is the weakest link. Miss Fitch probably falls in the middle. And Miss Cece… well, she’s a bit of a problem, but if it was easy, it wouldn’t be worth doing. Miss Janos, though, she’s just muscle at the end of the day. Sure, she’s pretty good with disguises, but from what we can tell, she lacks the cunning to really make use of them. Conversely, Miss Fitch has plenty of cunning but lacks strength. Paying their tabs together might be challenging, but separately, it should be manageable. And I think it goes without saying, Miss Cece is on a whole other level when it comes to both cunning and strength.
