Summary of Receipt
Marocchino checks in, mentioning that she’s only here to deal with the whole nightclub thing, then she’ll leave. She also mentions how she still has a life outside of the Cafe (referring to her tarot reading at the start of the summary?) and how ‘after what was said at the funeral, [she] thought [she] was done with this whole “coffee” thing’. She also says it’s easier to stomach working with the S.C. since it’s not face-to-face. So that’s something. Also, she keeps drawing ‘Death’ on her tarot cards, and mentions that it’ll be funny to see how Black Coffee’s trying to stop the apocalypse. Lastly, Doppio and Espresso are in fact her parents.

BARISTA ON DUTY: MAROCCHINO
RECEIPT FILED AS: NCN-07
Well, I’m back. Great. Love it. It’s just like old times, except now my parents are here too. Fun. Anyway, for the like, I don’t know two or three of you who don’t already know me I’m #1313. Or, I guess we’re done with the silly little numbers and have moved on to silly little nicknames, so you can call me Marocchino. Though, I actually think I like the nicknames better. It’s hard to get attached to numbers. Well, it’s not a good idea in any case.
So, yeah. I’m back. But I’m back only to help out with this nightclub stuff, and then I’m out again. I’ve got a life outside of the Cafe, and I’ve got plenty of clients who rely on me for my scrying shtick. I’ve been looking into the Mistress-Nightclub connection for a bit on my own between readings, so I guess I’m the right person for this job. After what was said at the funeral, I thought I was done with this whole “coffee” thing. Funny how that works, huh? At least none of this is face-to-face. Makes it a little easier to stomach, and maybe we should keep it that way.
Anyway, Red Eye caught me up with the whole NCN receipt business and the general Mistress and Weyer business. It aligns pretty well with what I’ve figured out on my own. Every spread I’ve done in the past few weeks has led to Death in the future. Now, Death isn’t the worst card to draw or anything, but it certainly signals a change is coming. I’m not sure exactly what 8 thinks she can do to stop it, but it might be funny to see.
