Also, ex-44 is the 15th Sphere version of Nick Langley, who in this Sphere genuinely defected to Astoria 23 instead of going undercover like in the 16th Sphere (i'm not sure whether he's part of deep corp 23 here). '8' is more often called '7', and is Jennifer Hepburn. However, unlike the 16th Sphere, her leaving the CaD seems to not have been on the best of terms, with the Third Cafe holding a great dislike for her compared to 8's reaction to meeting them in Twice Third Temple, Salvation of the Flies, CD-AA2303.
