Galloping gremlins! I can’t believe I missed seeing my older sister AND my mother. Drat. Well, I suppose I could find the time to make an Ice Water Trip after this business is over. Though, I’m 99.5% sure that my mother would scold me and then some for my, well, questionable life choices. Still, though, I’d love to see Theodosia again! I was only 11 when she left for her big trip. And this business might be over sooner than we think, seeing as we only have 3 more stones to find.
Of course, it’s the three trickiest Langleys to track down. I haven’t seen Malachi since he was 13 years old. Shortly after our parents passed, he ran away into the woods. I didn’t even know he was still around until Solomon told me what happened to the poor kid. And even then, Solomon has only seen him a handful of times since then. He’s definitely a hermit if ever there was one. Now, Maggie, I knew she was still around. She used to pop up every few years under a new name, though once cameras came out, she started getting more cautious, and then when the internet came about, she ultimately stopped putting herself in the public eye.
And then there’s my older sister Ursula. Weird, weird woman. I know she should still be around though I don’t know the specifics of why or how, and Solomon doesn’t seem to want to talk about it. I have my theories, though the numbers never seem to add up. Though Ursula is actually how I found myself interested in actuary work, I figured she had to be some sort of statistical anomaly. Then again, outliers exist for a reason; you just don’t see so many outliers on one person. Though no one knows precisely where she is, and she stopped talking with just about all of us after her big fight with Solomon some years back.
