Bloody hell. What's done can't be undone. I am beyond words, quite frankly. I can't believe I played right into No. I's hands. I should've known better. I would add these demons to the ones that already keep me up at night, but for my own sanity, I place the blame squarely on No. I. I can't even truly be that upset, can I? This isn't the first time he's used me to further his own ends. Then again, I suppose he uses me because I'm such an easy target. My actions, my motivations, they're all too predictable. Ah well, better a witty fool than a foolish wit, choice?
Now. Onto cleaning up No. I's glorious messes. While I am one to destroy, I am also usually the one left cleaning up as well. Funny that. Nothing I, nor anyone, could do to fix the No. 71, well, situation as it were. But I can at least help get the Big Guy back on his feet. Well, actually, he's moving around fine now that the bloody Blight has calmed down. Though… his arm, well, it's in rough shape. Real rough shape.
We, well, we talked it over. Over a nice cuppa cortado, I reckon. Yeah. Not where I wanted things to go, but we don't have many other options. We could wait and see if it heals, but it's risky, even with some very choice Canadian healthcare. The chance of infection is high. His arm will never work the same anyway. Next steps, we want at least a second opinion first. And no bloke better than the Pathologist, yeah? He already said he's split the bill for our cortado, but I want to see if he still thinks that's the best way forward now that the Blight has calmed.
