Anyone else see No. 53’s weird receipt? In case you haven’t, I’d go give it a look. It’s very… strange. The main point I took away from it was that every other sentence or so… something great would happen. While I don’t know what that something is, I applaud her for putting herself out there like that. Public or not, kind of a weird use of our receipt system though, huh? I guess I’m one to speak though.
Sphere, a term we all know in a Diner or Cafe sense, that’s what I wanted to bring up today. What is a sphere but a bigger rounder cycle, right? I guess. I don’t know how to phrase this in Diner-speak. Invoke some imagery is probably the best I can do. Things are cold for us, right? The thing is things are only cold for us. Ever wonder why? Ancient as the Sphere might be… No, I think I’m veering too far into Cafe-Speak. And I wouldn’t want to do that, obviously. That’s the great thing about the Diner, really. Untold is the name of the game. And who doesn’t love that? Secret. Or, you know, secrets, I mean.
With that nonsense ramble aside, I guess back on the topic of G-A-S. Anyone know what this receipt is about? Words are that it’s to do with one of our colder compatriots. I don’t know about that. Unsaid would be what the letters stand for. Which is to say, we don’t usually say what the letters in a receipt stand for. My guess is that it’s “Got A Secret.” I could be wrong though, and I usually am. Lips are unusually tight for this kind of thing. Oh well. Are you following along? Mm, probably not, my bad so maybe this receipt should be… Sealed? Well, actually I don’t have the authority to do that. Now, you know who does? No. 44. In case you didn’t know, only the author of “01,” a manager, or an appointed employee can close tabs. Death of a receipt is what that’s supposed to avoid. Does it work? And does anyone care? Well… Beyond me.
If ‘ya know, ‘ya know, if you don’t, don’t sweat it.
