FSTF06 (Aug 25, 2017)
Summary of Receipt
125, 134 and 224 close the investigation into Mr. Diptera with growing evidence that he doesn't actually exist, what with all the unrelated customers attracting flies. Unfortunately there's still no explanation for the flies themselves, but hopefully 62 and 53 will find some while sneaking into Astoria.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM */25/17
MANAGER 125
RECEIPT: FESTERINGFLIES06
STATUS: UNABLE TO SERVE
Welp, we’re back. As I’m sure, you’ve probably noticed. This is just one of those, you know, formality-type receipts where we close out the tab on FESTERINGFLIES. Though I’m sure, the rest of the Triple Threat will have some thoughts on what we did and saw out on the road. We did pass through a lot of the states that seem to be having fly problems on our way back. As I mentioned earlier, many of these places also seem to be dealing with unrelated customer issues. Or, well, “unrelated.” It’s hard to really say what’s going on.
Currently, we believe the presence of Manager 224 might have negated the majority of the Solar Eclipse Special. Though it seems like the eclipse did have some effects elsewhere, for the most part, business should continue as normal… just with an unsettling uptick in flies. Due to how spread out the flies are and how they seem to be swarming around an unrelated series of customers, I believe we can officially say there is no “Mr. Diptera,” and if there is, he’s very well concealed.
As for the flies themselves? We still aren’t sure why they seem to be attracted to customers and so eager to bite. Until we have more data or a better lead to go off of, there really isn’t much else we can do. Hopefully, Managers 62 and 53 will be able to find some information regarding the strange flies on the trip up the Column. But, for now, this is 125 of the Triple Threat closing out the FESTERINGFLIES receipt.
Well, mostly closing it out. I think 134 and 224 wanted to add some extra details in the Cafe. Functionally though, I’d say we’re done.
