Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: Similarly to CX-TRG05, treat each line individually. So - what are Mr. customers, usually; what word can you find hidden in 'eraily'; is there a game you can play named 'heroes'; and what is that strange string of text from?
Clue 2: The term for non-thinking Otherside inhabitants; think along the lines of Era-Ily; the game you're searching for is more...city-based; why is that sculpture named that?
Clue 3: I'd focus more on the first or second lines, personally. Usually a Cryptid has a D, not a C; and what's an 'early era'?

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Cryptic
Explanation: In the First and Second Cafes, usually, Mr. Customers were Cryptids. By replacing the D with C, you get Cryptic. Additionally, the earliest era is the Cryptic Era. There is also a game called “City of Heroes” by Cryptic Studios, and the string of text is from the Kryptos statue, which sounds similar to Cryptic.

Honestly, I got it from the first line. Maybe it helps that I was in the First and Second Cafes. I don’t know. Mr. Customers are overwhelmingly cryptids. Cryptids with a c instead of a d is Cryptic. Ta-da. The Cryptic Era is also the earliest era, there’s some nerd game called “City of Heroes” made by Cryptic Studios. And… “EMUFPHZ… etc.” is a line from the Kryptos statue. Which… would explain why it didn’t “work” due to spelling.

So… what the hell is this thing? Seriously?? I… I have no idea. Is it supposed to be like a crossword puzzle? Or… I really don’t know. I see words in there, so that’s something, right? Knight, Comedy, Chocolate, Psalm, etc. But… why is it in a grid? And what’s up with the last line?? I don’t know. This one’s not my problem.

Puzzle 2

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: So...why those words, specifically?
Clue 2: Think of this as an incredibly annoying game of Connections. There's four words that each connect a set of four of the puzzle's words.
Clue 3: Chocolate, Horse, Comedy, Nebula; Black, Frost, Knave, Union; Knight, Wry, Psalm, Czar; Nutcracker, Planets, Florida, Apocalypse. In that order.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Dark Jack Silent Suite
Explanation: Each set of four words listed below can be linked to one word. Chocolate, Horse, Comedy and Nebula can all be preceded by the word 'Dark'; similarly with Black, Frost, Knave and Union - the word 'Jack' can go either in front or behind. Knight, Wry, Psalm and Czar all have silent letters, and Nutcracker, Planets, Florida and Apocalypse are all names of suites (either musically or, in Apocalypse's case, a comic book name).

WELCOME LADIES, GENTLEMEN, AND OTHERS, TO THE THIRD EPISODE (FOR HERE AND NOW) OF "STOP RECORDING WHAT I SAY, OBOONEXRE I DON'T APPRECIATE IT!"

Your loving cast of ill-intent:

Your Gamemaster: Oboonexre

Your Great Ape: Zehhurozzm

Your Mysterious Benefactor: Shaka

Your Friend Friend Friend: Zeuzitxum

S.O.T.

Zeuz: Hello, my name is Indrid Cold. Do not be afraid.

Oboon: Yeah, yeah, hi again, Cold. We're plenty afraid, don't you worry your little empty head. The thing is my... friend? Would you say we are friends?

Zeh: No.

Oboon: Got it. My friend, the Ageless Ape, is looking for an item you might have in your general possession. The Staff of Solomon?

Zeuz: Solomon? Do you really think so?

Shaka: I know you have it as part of your ongoing arrangement with the Game Master.

Oboon: Oh, "Game Master," I like that. That sounds cool. Usually, people just call me Gameshow.

Zeh: I'm surprised people don't call you "Chatterbox." Do you ever stop talking?

Oboon: Rarely. Anyway, the M.B. is right. You probably have it as part of my prize scheme, Cold.

Zeuz: I don't know... it would be kind of dangerous, wouldn't it?

Shaka: Yes, it is a stupid prize. I'm sure somewhere inside what remains of your mind, you know that Cold. Though this is not my deal to broker. Give the Ape the staff or don't. I wouldn't want to stand in the way of Fate.

Zeuz: Fate. Fate. Fate. Fate. Fate. Fate. Fate. Fate.

Oboon: Way to go M.B., you got the guy spinning.

Zeuz: Fate, Fate, Friendly, Friend, Fearful, Fate, Find, Find, Find the Staff of Solomon.

Zeh: Find? I thought you had it.

Zeuz: Would you use it if your life was in danger?

Zeh: Of course I wouldn't. I do not use my prizes like some savage creature.

Zeuz: Solomon? I haven't heard from them in eons. Not the real them, anyway. Solomon? I haven't heard from her in eons. Not the real her, anyway. Sara? I haven't heard from her in eons. Not the real her, anyway. What about, what about, what about, what about, what about, what about this makes you think I want to do this? They're my family. They were my family.

Zeh: I don't follow.

Oboon: I'm a bit lost myself.

Shaka: And my lips are unfortunately sealed on this matter. I know I said I would stay out of this affair, but you've piqued my interest, Cold. Your family? So, it is well enough fated then? Fated for whom?

Zeuz: Chocolate, Cold, Cold, Cold Coffee, Tea, and Candy Canes.

Shaka: Ah, I see.

Zeh: See what?

Oboon: Zumbido mati nǐ znat.

Shaka: Ah, a clever one Gameshow.

Zeh: You are all very infuriating to be around.

Shaka: In any case, it is always a pleasure, Cold. See you at the "family" reunion.

Zeuz: Which, which, family, which family?

Shaka: I think that is up to us, friend.

Zeuz: Hello, my name is Indrid Cold. Do not be afraid. Solomon? Do you really think so?

Zeh: Yes! Solomon! Where is it? Where is my prize?

Shaka: It's a lost cause, Ape. It is no longer with Indrid. It is already well on its way to where it needs to be. It is no more than a baton in the orchestra of chaos. And the conductor is getting ready to play.

Zeh: What is that supposed to mean?

Oboon: It means you're probably better off getting cozy to the Dark than the Cold.

Zeh: Bah! You are all useless. I will reclaim my prize on my own.

Oboon: Best of luck, friend! Geez, I'm glad he's gone.

Zeuz: I don't know... it would be kind of dangerous, wouldn't it?

Oboon: You can say that again. Eh. Probably will say that again. Hey, Shaka, do you think we could get Cold to... you know... warm up a bit?

Shaka: Not worth the risk. Why?

Oboon: I have some... ill-intents I wish to discuss.
