Summary of Receipt

Black Coffee explains that the Corpse Reviver No. 3 should empower Red Eye enough to rapidly expand the bubble, diffusing its influence and allowing time to flow again. There are two main things they’ll need to get: the tooth of a specific Ouroborian (and no, not Red Eye) and the ‘Last Note of a Melody’. Red Eye directed them to another Ouroborian they could get a tooth from, while Mrs. Weyer/Naberius gave them a vial to collect the Last Note of a Melody in.

RECEIPT AS OF: 10/18/01
BARISTA ON DUTY: BLACK COFFEE
RECEIPT FILED AS: CRN3-01

As Red Eye mentioned, Mrs. Weyer is seeking to craft a Corpse Reviver No. 3. Apparently, if Red Eye drinks this cocktail, it should give her the necessary buzz to shut down the Gossamer Ballast safely. I won’t pretend like I know how any of it works, but she described it to me as sort of rapidly expanding the Ballast’s bubble to such a size that its hold on the night would weaken. Eventually, the bubble would grow to such a size that it wouldn’t “pop” but fade away. I trust she knows what she’s doing.

As for us? Well, we need to help Mrs. Weyer collect the last of the ingredients for this cocktail. There are precisely two ingredients Mrs. Weyer has been unable to collect due in part to her many tiring roles in the club. Mrs. Weyer has also had to keep a low profile so as to not stir Mistress’ suspicions. Most of the more minor ingredients I can grab with the help of Doppio and Romano. Of course, Marocchino can’t be bothered to help us as she’s too busy with her fish floozie.

The two ingredients that’ll prove more difficult to get are a tooth of a specific Canadian breed of reptile, and something called the “Last Note of a Melody.” As for the tooth, Red Eye first told me that under no circumstances would her own teeth work, so don’t try it. But she also mentioned there is another one of her kids in the club who we could try to persuade into giving us a tooth. As for the Last Note, I’m not entirely sure what Mrs. Weyer meant by that, but she did give us a strange vial to collect it in.
