Clue 3: The Serpent's name.
Answer and Explanation
Answer: The Serpent Daichi
Explanation: The puzzle is a play on a well-known idiom about the resemblance of children to their parents. The relevant apple-related child here would be the Serpent, Daichi, son of Belphegor who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden.

This is not good. This protodemon problem is growing out of hand. Even the Court is getting involved in their containment and removal. The Court almost never gets involved—and even when it does, it does not act this swiftly. Worse, these strange beings do not seem to have any sort of consistency in their nature, temperament, strengths…, or weaknesses. What works on some of the protodemons does not work on others. While the three primary Cafe and Diner branches have been handling the situation well enough thus far, we only have so many employees, and they can be in so many places at once.
We need to find a way to stop them from leaking out into the Flipside and Otherside. I fear the solution to this problem was already found a very long time ago, and it involved removing Eden from the Universe entirely. As for why God stays His hand now, of all times, I cannot say. It is not my place to know why He does what He does. However, I fear that by whatever means He managed to remove Eden the first time, we do not have access to that anymore. At the very least, I must assume time travel was involved if our lush little Daichi has been telling the truth that he was the one who tempted Eve so many eons ago. He is, after all, a grandchild of Eve.
Perhaps Daichi knows more than he is willing to say? Or, perhaps, the means by which Eden was removed have somehow slipped his serpentine mind. It makes sense, after all. Ouroborians shed their memories alongside their skins. While Daichi is rather rotund, he is nowhere near the size of the great dragons and wyrms of the Ouroboros. To me, it seems like he has done his best to forget the Fall entirely. A guilty conscience, perhaps. Or, like his mother, a deep fear that he might end up like the Devil or Eve.
