Clue 2: Think back into the past. Like, really far back into the past. What did Daichi do when he time-travelled back into the past?
Clue 3: Or, more specifically, what fell?
Clue 4: Check out CD-TLC02 in Debt Come Due.

Nobody listens to me, do they? Saving Joy is a waste of our time. Besides, she’s in Eden, or, you know, whatever weird amalgamation of Eden the Black Thorn is. I couldn’t think of a better place for her to wait for the inevitable rewinding of the Universe in. Seeing as Arcadia went and got himself killed, there’s nothing Eden can “do” now. I really thought I hit the jackpot with this one, too. For the first time in 15 Spheres, Arcadia, Skald, and Eden stayed the same. No having to track them down and figure out who they were—they were as I left them, Julius, Jericho, and Joy. A weird side effect of this Universe just being a glorified backup, I suppose.

I guess in the end, Arcadia was just as death-prone as he has been in every Sphere since. At least Skald didn’t kill him this time around. Progress? I guess so. Though keeping tally, Skald has died four times, Arcadia has died nine times, and Eden has died three times. And do you know what is extra annoying about all of this? We were so, so close this time to having the three actually become one. One step away. Well, two or three steps away. We would’ve had to rescue Eden first—which we were working on until Arcadia got himself killed. Again.

I guess he was also trying to save Eden but in a really stupid way. I’ll chalk that up to Eve’s manipulation. She also wants to save Eden (the place, not the simulacrum), which is probably why she’s so insistent on keeping Joy tied up in her webs. If I had to take a swing at her plans, it’d be to get the land back (done), sea back (done) and her sky back (working on it). Then, she can use Joy to reset Eden to what it was before it was removed. I’m not a fan of that plan because it goes directly against my boss’ plan and would make having three become one a lot harder.

Crap.

Yeah, I guess it would, wouldn’t it? We might need to save Eden from itself, after all.

We need to save Joy.
