Summary of Receipt
The Astorians showed up as well to help with the mess in the Hotbed, namely Divisions Hotel and Echo - apparently, although Hotel would have been expected to show up, Echo and the other ‘big six’ divisions very rarely show up. Also, all of the monsters strangely seemed to be dealt with really quickly once the Astorians showed up. Manager 3 finds it suspicious, but mentions that there’s no real purpose for doing that. Manager 1 and Manager 2 are busy talking to the Astorians, while the Long Island branch will be busy investigating Bartlett’s lights and the four members of Long Island will soon return and update the CaD with their findings.

Well, I think I could probably go the rest of my whole life without seeing another clown. And here I thought the Wall Clowns were bad, but these Frozen Clowns, jeez. Creepy, cold, and gross. Well, anyway, things are, to our knowledge, settled. I know, perhaps anticlimactic after we all rushed in to help... but we weren’t the only ones to lend a hand. Divisions Hotel and Echo showed up after the Palm Beach crew. Again, more and more Indigo. It makes some sense, Palm Beach did use their Warp Point to get here, so I’m sure they had to be aware of the situation.
Hotel is the standard field-Division you’d expect to see in a case like this. They handle the fieldwork for Bravo-Echo. Which raises the question, why did Echo themselves show up? It’s very, very uncommon for any of the “big six” Divisions to make physical appearances. And we all know what happened last time we dealt with Bravo in person. Stranger still, once the Astorians arrived, Miss. Crawford was swiftly dealt with, the strange lights disappeared, and the fungi died off. I don’t know. I’m not implying anything. I just find it strange that the tides turned so rapidly once Astoria showed up. And that they showed up to deal with three customers that were previously tied to the other Indigo Orgs. Seems... convenient.
Though I don’t see the angle here. It seems like it’d be one big waste of all of their resources to... what? Distract us for a few weeks? Remove some of Long Beach for a few days? I mean, they’ll be back tomorrow. I guess, maybe, this was a way to figure out our current staff? Though they could just check our website. Again, maybe I’m overthinking this. Maybe they just knew what to do, or maybe we would’ve dealt with it even if they didn’t show up. I know that talks are being had and that only 1 and 2 are in on them, so maybe it has something to do with that. Though even 2 seemed surprised that Echo showed up in person. None of the agents stuck around to talk after Crawford went down, so I guess, for now, it’ll just remain a mystery.
As far as Mrs. Pierrot goes... we’re still not sure what exactly happened. The original Long Beach staff on the case is still looking into it. And like I said, tomorrow is Wednesday, so they should be back then with their findings. Crawford is less mysterious. We know where it was before, we know that it escaped, we know that it caused the strange weather patterns, and we know that Hotel took the body back with the most likely to put it back in the Freezer. That just leaves the strange lights... We haven’t seen anything like them before. And we haven’t seen them since. Long Island will be putting in some resources into looking into what exactly they are.
