Summary of Receipt
Red Eye mentions that the discrepancies refer to occurences that are different than in the 15th Sphere. She then says to just leave them alone. Also, she apparently hires the Gilzers to manage time discrepancies for her instead of sending them to the Black Tide.

I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised that the Gilzers have gotten involved in this whole, well, mess. That is to say, as one of the most knowledgeable people out there about the concept of “time,” I can confirm that time is weird. Not that time has gotten significantly weirder lately than it’s always been. But some circumstances have led to a great-big-time-weirdness. And with great-big-time-weirdness comes many small-time messes. Discrepancies, if you will. Discrepancies between this current moment and a similar moment in the past. Not the past as you know it but the past that is now gone for good. The universe as it was before it is currently. I’m sure Lungo gets what I’m getting at. For the rest of you, it’s nothing to worry about. What’s done is done.
So, these Gilzers aren’t anything to worry about. In fact, I agree with what “Rob” said. We should leave ALL of that cosmic discrepancy nonsense to them. They know what they’re doing, and we don’t. I don’t even know what I’m doing when it comes to cleaning up discrepancies. Sure, I can probably point them out a lot easier than any of you can, but I don’t know the first thing about actually fixing them. I’m more of a mess causer than a mess fixer. And that is why I keep the Gilzers on a sort of “payroll” of sorts. I keep them out of the Tide, and they keep things running smoothly. Yeah, yeah, I should probably learn how to do what they do at some point, but I don’t know. It seems like a lot of unnecessary work.
Anyway, thanks for checking in with one of them for me. Sounds like they still have everything relatively under control. Plus, we got the matchstick now. Yay? I don’t really know what to do with that yet. Though, I do see why it’d be better in our hands instead of our competition’s. You’d think that the Gilzers would have wanted to throw it out. It is just trash, after all. Unless… Eh, who knows. Like I said, the Gilzers do their thing, I do my thing, and the Cafe does its own thing. But let’s take good care of that piece of wood for now. It’d probably be dangerous in the wrong hands.
