Employee 44B talks to Shaka. There's a lot of strange coded talking, possibly saying that Shaka also remembers Sequence II and that the CaD's successfully secured the Pearl of Poseidon. Unfortunately Shaka won't budge in his job of killing Morrison, but that's fine, since 17 got them while the two were talking. There’s also some mention of being Zilence- compliant, and that Division Alpha doesn’t control what Zulu does.

Had a friendly chat with Z. Akahsik. The transcript is as follows, but some parts had to be cut out per his request due to the nature of our conversation. While I don’t personally “believe” in the whole Zilence thing, I’m sure 17 will appreciate me cutting some parts out in the spirit of it.

Z: Ah, if it isn’t [44B], what a surprise.
44B: Always a pleasure, [Z]. Now, I’m sure you know why I’m here.
Z: It is safe to assume I know everything that is happening. I even know who decided to roll back my progress in banishing the Grunches. Thank you, by the way, for your part in that. I love doing things twice.
44B: I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, [Z].
Z: Ah, of course. Bound by zilence, as am I.
44B: Well, I’m not bound by your same rul-
Z: It’s all the same. One day you’ll see that [44B]. In any case, you can’t talk, and I can’t talk, so I suppose that is where our conversation ends, hm? Now, if you would leave me to my business.
44B: Your business is your business, [Z], I respect that. And in the spirit of respect, I’m sure you could share some of your information with me if I share some with you.
Z: Of course. There is always room to barter. But it can be difficult to barter with tight lips.
44B: Gold and Green are out this season, but I’m a trendsetter. A lone trendsetter.
Z: What’s the weather like in France?
44B: White is in.
Z: And the fashion?
44B: Pearls.
Z: Pearls, white, gold and green. I see. You’ve been busy [44B]. You know my offer still stands? Zulu could undoubtedly use a talent like you.
44B: After the whole Muriel Affair, I’m pretty sure I’m barred from Astoria work.
Z: Ha. Astrid doesn’t call the shots when it comes to my Division, and you know that. Well, as always, think about it. And to answer your question, fashion changes by night and by morning.
44B: By morning? But isn’t-
Z: Well, yes. But this was a promise kept. Morning dew glistens brighter than most.
44B: How long was the night?
Z: Hm… Hard to say. 32 years give or take. If only it could be morning again, then you could bother me in the afternoon instead. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got Grunches to kill.
