Clue 2: ...I'm going to be honest, if you don't know who this is referring to, you probably shouldn't be reading this.
Clue 3: King of the Everdark and main focus of the GOTD receipts respectively.

Answer: Morbid And Umbra
Explanation: Morbra is a portmanteau of Morbid and Umbra. Combining two names together like this is common in shipping, thus.

Summary of Receipt

VI was the Last Cafe member. Umbra’s been following the CaD around as they went through Mayda, but didn’t interfere. VI sensed that Umbra felt ‘off’, as if he didn’t exactly fit into the Universe. Interestingly, Shaka gave him a similar vibe.

It was me all along! I was the stowaway! You never saw me because I’m so darn tiny! Bwhahahaha- well, also, I was purposefully staying out of sight. Only Dan knew I was coming along, and he did a decent job at keeping that coffee nice and warm. Almost makes me want to bump him up in my employee rankings. Almost. Anyway, I’m sure you can guess what little ol’ me was up to in Mayda—Umbra watch. And, yes, Umbra was lurking around the Creaking just like he was lurking around Aurora, the Discovery Ring of the Necropolis, and the Mammonsoleum.

But… something was off about Umbra. He didn’t feel like he “belonged” there. I know, no duh, he’s like a shadow guy who is not from Mayda. I mean, he felt like he didn’t belong in this Universe. Or, well, that’s not quite right either. He felt like a sleeping limb. Prickly, pokey, tv static, or McDonald’s Sprite. He felt… off. But not in an immediately concerning way, in a numb nagging kind of way. Is it concerning? I suppose so. Though it could also mean nothing. The Universe isn’t exactly as clear-cut or rule-abiding as many people make it out to be. I mean, Shaka gives me the same weird static feeling, and he is from this Universe. I think.

Regardless of Umbra’s weirdness, he didn’t do anything outwardly sinister or dark while we were there. Heck, he wasn’t even there when Theodosia handed off her Abraxas Stone. If he was making a play for the stones or was at least interested in the stones, you’d think he would have been there for that. Even if he and the Morbid King are just waiting until they’re all together in one nice package, I’d think he’d want to see what it looks like, right? Then again, it’s 13 very similarly shaped McGuffins. It might not matter that much. But then why go through all the trouble of following us around?

I don’t know. It’s over my pay grade. Well, I don’t get paid for that matter, which I kind of thought this was a paid gig, but whatever. Umbra’s a weird guy doing weird things—What else is new?
