Explanation: This is one of Lucifer’s sisters, more specifically the most powerful one.
Summary of Receipt
53 spots two things. Firstly, Sophie Grenbelrn - an Investor of the CaD, as mentioned by 8 - is an anagram of 'Sinner Belphegor', who was part of the Second Cafe under the codename 'Red Eye'. Furthermore, since Jennifer Hepburn - the old 8 of the Second Cafe - is no longer 8, and she passed it to (the current) 8, Belphegor has to have gotten it from her. Which means she's working with the Deep Corp. The next question, then, is why the Deep Corp wants to learn about the Investors. Secondly, in CD-AA2303, 8 hints at the existence of the 'Investors', though she later claims she doesn't know anything about them (C-DC2303). 53 confronts 8 and asks her to let them in on her secrets, if only so that they can help her.

Well… I can’t say I saw that coming. Well, mm… maybe. To be fair, the Cafe and Diner was historically an organization a Prince of Hell co-founded. I suppose it’s not much of a stretch further to find out that our beloved Third Cafe and Diner was co-founded by Belphegor, the Demon Prince of Sloth. What… to do… with this information… hm… Well, I suppose the first thing I need to ask is, did you know about this J? Sometimes I can’t tell when you’re withholding information from us. Even if you did already know… would you feign surprise now that I’ve put it all out there? Or will you just pull your classic, “now, now, 53, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We don’t know that Sophie is Belphegor.”
She’s Belphegor. I looked it up. Her last name is Grenbelrn. First off, that’s not a real last name. Come on. Second, it’s an anagram. Sophie Grenbelrn is Sinner Belphegor. Third, “Sophie” worked for the Second Cafe under the name “Red Eye.” Not only that, assuming Jennifer Hepburn, who was the number after 7, is no longer the number after 7… one has to wonder where that number went, right? I think it’s pretty clear that Belphegor either took the number from her OR Jennifer gave it to her willingly. If so… it means that our primary Investor is probably also working with the DeepCorp23 or at least one member of it. So then why, oh why, would the DeepCorp23 want to learn more about the Investors PLURAL? Hm?
Did you know about your Freudian slip, J? A while back, when you went to meet with Nicholas and Jennifer, you said you told him about the situation with our investors. Plural. So, I’m assuming even if you didn’t know that Belphegor was one of our investors, you know she isn’t our only Investor, right? It seems like you’ve been hiding away some pretty big secrets, J. I suppose it is part of your “job,” but we can’t help you if you don’t let us in on your schemes.
