The mysterious man calls himself a Mysterious Benefactor, and says that he and Dingane are bound by blood - Dingane is the code name of the Zulu agent that 512 killed while she was attempting to escape from Astoria’s zombie experiment base.

Last night a strange man appeared outside my window. I had a terrible feeling about him. Luckily I was able to hit the transcribe button on my CaDCom in time. Here’s the transcript.
S.O.T
512: Ah!! What are you? Are you, are you [Mrs. Brown]?
Unknown: Heh, no, I don’t think so. Lovely manor, wouldn’t you say?
512: Uh, I guess so… but who or what are you?
Unknown: Of course you don’t recognize me, we hardly had a chance to meet. No point in introductions now. How about you call me your
“Mysterious Benefactor.”
512: We’ve met before?
MB: Yes. And you’re rather lucky [512]. I am in a more generous mood than I have been in for the last few centuries. That and I think it would be troublesome to kill you, what with you having the blood of Asmodeus in you.
512: Asmodeus? Who’s that?
MB: Ah, you have much to learn about the coffee business. She is the Demon Prince of Lust. Ruler of the Necropolis. Patron saint of the dead. With her cruor coursing through your veins, you would be, well, almost impossible to kill. Almost.
512: Wait, so I have demon blood in me?
MB: In a sense, yes. Quite the feat of the Zulu cult. But, you don’t just have the blood of a prince; the blood of a prince has you. It will start attacking your more human parts should you fail to meet its lust. I’m sure you’ve already experienced this. However, by feeding into its dark desires—which would seem to be brains in your case, is that right?
512: Um. Yes.
MB: By feeding those desires, you stay human. But brains aren’t the only way, or I should say the most direct route. No, there are other ways to sate your blood. And I could illuminate you for a price.
512: What price?
MB: I would simply enjoy a tour of the manor. Nothing more.
512: I— don’t know. It’s not my—
MB: Decision to make. Of course not. Well, should you change your mind, I will always be here. We are bound, Dingane. Forever.

So… that was strange. When Employee 17 said there were strange things in New Orleans, he wasn’t kidding! Obviously, I didn’t invite him into the manor. Still, he did mention other ways to “sate my blood” without having to eat brains. As I said in C-AWNO01, it would be really helpful if I could use my powers without having to eat brains. But also, probably not worth trusting weirdos who call themselves “Mysterious Benefactor,” right? Well, in any case, I’ll talk with Employee 17 about it and see what he thinks. That’s all for now!
