Knowledge | 3 Words

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: That word doesn't exactly come up in the Archives, per se, but rather a certain File.
Clue 2: Which Manager has the song 'Starchild' in their playlist?
Clue 3: Now piece together the story of what happened to her after Debt Come Due (and Fate). Why is she not there to join the rest of the Cafe and Diner Employees? While you're doing that, track what's going on with the other members of the CaD who haven't joined up again.
Clue 4: Julia is the only Employee who hasn't been accounted for - no explanation for where she is. Well, not in Folie a Deux, anyway. Check out Year Zero.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: The Other Otherman
Explanation: Julia, the only remaining unaccounted-for member of the Cafe and Diner, can only be one person: the Other Otherman.

It’s good to be back. I’m sorry Jackie didn’t want to come along too. Though, I can’t blame her. Not entirely. Julia… she meant so much to her. She was… well, I was really hoping things would finally work out for Jackie. She’s grown so much since high school. But she’s never had the best luck when it came to love. After what happened to Charlotte, I was surprised she even gave it another shot with Julia, but I guess she couldn’t help herself, could she? You know, it’s funny in a way. The reclusive and enigmatic 8 always seems drawn to the warmth of a Morningstar, like moths to a flame.

Mm… those flames tend to burn far too bright, don’t they?

It was sudden when it happened. The fire. Jackie wasn’t home, of course. But when she came back, all that was left was a pile of ash and rubble. She couldn’t stomach New York after that, and I offered to split an apartment with her back home in Long Beach. I couldn’t leave her on her own, not after that. So, that’s where we’ve been for the past… 8… months. There’s that number again. Always lurking around in the aether of our lives. Well, in any case, it’s been a miserable 8 months.

I don’t know if there’s anything that could bring light back into Jackie’s life at this point. I tried when I could, but it felt like all light just sank into her like a collapsed star. I knew she’d never go back to the Cafe and Diner, but I was hoping maybe she’d see the same light I see in all of you. Maybe she still will? Well, like I said, she isn’t everything. There are other people I need to help now.
