If you haven’t heard from the Pathologist, Dover’s coming. Unsure when. Or how. He said he still had some work to wrap up… elsewhere… but once he was done with that, he’d come to lend a hand with our Rune situation. Apparently, he’s quite fond of Rune and wants to make sure we do everything we can to help her. So… I guess whenever he’s done with whatever he’s doing, he’ll be here. It’s a bit anti-climactic, I suppose, and it betrays the urgency of the situation, but our hands are tied. We need Dover, and Dover comes and goes as he pleases.

In the meantime, the Pathologist and Mercutio will be working on getting together the items needed by Dover, some of which are rather tricky to track down, so we’ll take this intermission as a blessing. I’ve gone over the list with the Pathologist, and it’s certainly… out there. Fortunately, I believe I at least know what Dover meant with most of his ingredients, even the ones he clearly made up names for. It looks like the hardest ingredient to get—beyond the obvious soul of the operation—will be some true brine. But… well, actually…

Ah! This is the Shaka feeling. The feeling like everything is lining up exactly how I need it to. Eh, more or less, anyway. I’ll see how I can help prepare things for Dover’s arrival. In the meantime, we should probably shift focus toward our Sebitti hunt. I believe Mercutio mentioned a trip down south? That would be perfect. It’s just the two people I needed to see anyway. Plus, we can see if the records mention anything about the Sebitti. I assume Silenziosa will want to tag along, right? Anyone else care to pay our respects to the Queen?
