Summary of Receipt

The Manager plays a game with Aka, a demon. Basically he asks you a question and lights a piece of paper on fire. You have until the fire burns the paper to answer the question. Get it wrong, you eventaully die or worse. Get it right, you can ask him a question. If he doesn’t know that, he becomes your servant until he finds out. The Manager wins (though revealed a lot), but something interrupts the game. They scheduled a rematch.

ORDER: TOAST
CUSTOMER: AKA
SERVER: THE MANAGER
Right, so we've got a touch of a problem, choice? Aka. I might've summoned the bloke using his little ritual. No worries though lads, I beat his little game and learned something rather choice.

Aka has a ritual game for those who don't know, and I won't describe how to play it here because it's bloody stupid and dangerous, but here's the gist. You summon him, he asks a question, and sets a piece of paper on fire; you have that much time to answer his question. If you get it wrong, you lose, and he'll "go away" but end up killing you later. Or worse. Usually worse.

But…

If you get it right, which is bloody hard to do mind you, you get to ask him a question. And if by some miracle he doesn't know or gets it wrong, you win. He becomes your servant until he does know the answer at which point he'll tell you. More or less anyway. Kinda showed a lot of my hand in the process, but I did one up the bloody git, and right before I got myself a choice little double agent demon, our game was interrupted.

We've "agreed" to play again because, well, neither of us is in a position not to. The game starts on the 12th. We're allowed to phone a friend.

Can't say much else as I've signed a bloody NDA over it.
