So… some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Payroll and I were able to figure out which of the Death’s Door Nightclubs Aka and Florida were using to access the Necropolis—the Last Sunset. That was the good news. The bad news is that it was impossible to stop them in that labyrinth of flashing lights and pounding music. While we did see Aka and Florida in Last Sunset, we weren’t able to stay on top of them for long, and we can only assume they managed to slip into the Otherside to meet up with their “toymaker.”
Of course, a little girls' night out at a demonic nightclub is still fun and stuff, y’know? Payroll and I haven’t gotten to have much time to ourselves lately. Though… well, I don’t think Last Sunset was the best place to hang out in. It seems like that whole club is under Florida’s felt thumb. Literally. He owns half of Last Sunset. I’m guessing he was co-running this club long before he joined up with the Dark, but it was definitely NOT the place we wanted to be.
It didn’t take long for Florida’s goons to alert him that we were snooping around his club. It didn’t take long for Aka and Florida to reappear, and they attempted to corner us at the exit. Thankfully, Payroll knows her way out of just about any club-scene, and we were able to slip out the back. I guess it’s good to know that Last Sunset is more-or-less off limits to us unless we’re looking to actively kick the hornet’s nest. Though… it does make me wonder… maybe that’s where the Dark is located? Not like, in the actual club, y’know? But… underneath it? Maybe that’s silly, and to be fair, Robert wasn’t like a founding member or anything. But, it would certainly give them access to the Necropolis and Everdark.
