Summary of Receipt

The three check into the Hotel. It seems to be manned by some guy with different costumes acting as literally all the staff. He’s definitely not human, and 44A seems to recognise him (and he definitely knows her). Also, he speaks incredibly similar to New Guy, a member of the Other Cafe. 44A ran that. So yeah it’s probably New Guy/Mr. Loveland serving them here. 44A and Manager 1 also seem to have some strange tension, which is kinda weird.

We’ve managed to check in, but there is something strange about this hotel. This might actually be the labyrinth we’ve been looking for after all. I was able to steal a quick glance at the interior of room 101, and, well, it certainly looks a lot bigger on the inside. I’m guessing this whole hotel exists in some sort of weird non-Euclidean space. Thankfully, no matter how big the hotel actually is, it seems the Pearl still works here. So, we should be able to track down the Thunderbolt relatively easily. I hope.

It’s also worth mentioning how… strange… the Bellhop is. He’s certainly not… human. I know that much. Though I don’t recognize him from any sort of Greek myths. Also, the Bellhop is the desk clerk, the housekeeping, and, well, I think he does every job in the hotel. There’s a strong possibility that the Bellhop is Dolos in a disguise of some sort. So, we need to keep an eye on him. Though my sister has a feeling that she’s met him before.

…I hate all this trickster God stuff.

Bellhop: Hello! Yes, hello! Welcome to La Sonim Hotel! It is a very nice hotel, and I think, yes, I think you will enjoy your stay with us. Do you, perchance, have some bags that I could take to your room?

No. 1: We… don’t have a room yet.

Bellhop: Oh, I see! Yes, okay, yes, that is a very easy problem to fix. We only have four other guests at the hotel right now, so I think, yes, I truly think this. I think you could easily book a room. Go to the front counter to speak with the desk clerk about it!

No. 44B: Alright…

[The Bellhop ran very fast under the counter, quickly changing his hat, and reappeared as the Desk Clerk]

Desk Clerk: Hello! Yes, hello! Welcome to La Sonim Hotel! It is a VERY nice hotel, and I think, yes, I think you will enjoy your stay with us. I’m looking here at the bookings, okay, and I am seeing we only have two rooms available.

No. 1: But didn’t you just say…?

Desk Clerk: Oh, I see. You must’ve been speaking to the Bellhop. Yes, easy mistake to make. The Bellhop takes bags to their rooms but does not know how many people are staying at the hotel. I do. I am the Desk Clerk.

No. 44B: Okay… well, I’ll take one room and [No. 1] and [No. 44A] will take the other.

No. 1: Uh…

Desk Clerk: [No. 44A]?

No. 44A: No way. I am not sharing a room with [No. 1] Why can’t we just share a room, [No. 44B]?

No. 44B: I escaped that nightmare years ago. I am not going back to it. Besides, you two need to work through your issues at some point. This seems like a great time.

Desk Clerk: [No. 44A]?

No. 44A: What?

Desk Clerk: Hi.

No. 44A: …Uh. Hi.

Desk Clerk: Okay. So, let’s get you to your rooms, okay? The Bellhop can help you with that!

[The Desk Clerk dropped down behind the desk, switched hats, and returned as the Bellhop]

Bellhop: Hi. Okay. Let’s get you to your rooms! You’ll be staying in rooms 111 and 113. Also, there is a breakfast in the morning, okay, you’ll enjoy it, we have a VERY talented chef.
