Summary of Receipt
1313 reveals Fate’s weakness. Though it can see the future, it cannot directly act. All it can do is manipulate and alter chance. And therein lies the CaD’s final hope. Bartlett, an unforeseen variable in Fate’s schemes, has shattered Tudor’s Mirror and gained the ability to shift Cycles around - making him a tangible threat to Fate and the Cold, who, despite them being outside the universe, can only focus on a single Cycle. 1313 wishes she could gain a second source of precognition aside from Fate, but she says it’s the only one who really cares about seeing the future. Well, other than Debt. And then Fate takes over, and leaves one final message: that with Augustine awaking, another seal breaks, and from its blood their debt comes due.

For once, I'd rather not rhyme. It makes me sick to my stomach that Fate has led us to this dead end. The worst part? Fate told us. Fate spelled out every step along the way. If you weren't aware, Fate is the one I repeatedly turn towards for guidance, but Fate is no benevolent overseer. Make no mistake, I never counted Fate as an ally. They were always a close friend and nothing more. And as a close friend, I know their greatest weakness. They have no real control.
None. Zero. All Fate can do is whisper sweet words, set pretty stages, and hope we play along. Fate pulls at the strings but can't weave new ones. So, while things are indeed quite dire perhaps, as No. 6 said, Dover can save the day. By all accounts, Dover is an unexpected variable in Fate's circular schemes. Not only is Dover unaccounted for, but his shattering of the mirror and acquisition of dimensional powers also make him a tangible threat to Fate. See, while the Cold exists outside of the Sphere, they can only focus their efforts on one Cycle. And Dover can shift Cycles around. Perhaps that is how we can get a last-minute advantage?
I can't say how this will help. Most of what I know is drawn directly from Fate. So then, it is reassuring that I don't know. However, I don't enjoy being in the dark. If there was a better source of precognition, I would certainly seek it out. Though, Fate seems the only one interested in planning what will happen next. Well, Fate, and perhaps the Debt. The one and true singular Debt. Older than the old and colder than the Cold. The deepest darkest, and most dangerous threat is the one called Debt. In the basement, the beast awakes, and with it, another seal breaks. From it's blood born anew, from its blood the Debt comes due. Plunge the daggers deep in his heart as we approach our anfractuous yet cyclical restart. For weaving woes is quite the art, and I thank you all for playing your part.
