Clue 1: This one's a musical trivia, not any of the others.
Clue 2: What are the names of all the hex codes, except the #XXXXXX?
Clue 3: Which song - by Andrew Lloyd Webber - mentions these colours? What's the missing one?
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Ochre
Explanation: The hex codes are a reference to the song Joseph’s Coat by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Some of the lyrics are ‘It was red and yellow and green and brown and scarlet and black and ochre and peach’, which fit with the hex codes. The missing colour is therefore ochre.
Summary of Receipt
161 gets Belphegor to show up and talk to Malachi. He kept talking about hidden planes, broken keys, the Shadow War and Bird’s fall, of the stars aligning and Satan lurking in the Open Doors church, and of the Black Tide freezing over. Malachi refused to help them with his stone, warning that the darkest hours would come and Satan would intervene. With that, the CaD has to go and get all of the Langleys together so that they can use their stones to send Bartholomew back, since the stones can either be used by one person or all. Also, Malachi’s scrying medium isn’t some glass, or even something like Sirius. It’s the entire Ouroboros.

No. 161 was NOT kidding when she said she would go over Malachi's head on this. I know that No. II technically works for the Cafe and all, but I have no idea how No. 161 was able to actually get her to show up to talk to Malachi. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to do with her being an Augur, though. Regardless, No. II's presence did seem to calm Malachi down a bit. Not a lot. And he still refuses to give us his stone, so it looks like we're moving on to plan B: gathering up all of the Langleys to use the stones together. Which… does… feel like we've just undone all of the last few months of work. But at least we know where 11 out of the 13 Langleys are. How we're supposed to get them in one place now? Not. My. Problem. I'll leave that to the Last Cafe to work out.
S.O.T.
No. II: Come on, Malachi. We need the stone Solomon gave you.
Malachi: No… no, I can't. I can't. You don't get it. You don't get it yet. It's bad. It's really bad.
No. II: …How bad is it?
Malachi: Wolf's bane and birch trees, hidden planes, and broken keys. A Morbid King off to war, birds that will sing no more. Wolf's bane and birch, rise a hellish church. Wolf's bane and ash, the Archons are bound to crash. Wolf's bane and oak, a knowledge that cannot be broke. Wolf's bane and apple, he hides in the chapel. Wolf's bane and pine, the stars align. Wolf's bane and birch trees, low tide, no tide, black tides freeze.
No. II: Okay. I understand you're worried, Malachi, but I think the best way to prevent more trees from falling would be to stop your father. And to do that, we need your stone.
Malachi: No, no, no, no, no, no, it won't work. Wolf's bane. If the stones come together, the Archons will falter. Low tide, no tide, black tides freeze.
No. II: I… understand your concern, Malachi. But I don't think that could happen. I think it's more likely that we'll… come to an end… if we don't stop your father.
Malachi: End? End times. Dark times. Darkest hours. Doomsday.
No. II: Exactly. So, can we have your stone?
Malachi: Wolf's bane.
No. 3: Well… can we just take Malachi to the Spire and let Nikki use it's power via proximity?
Malachi: NO! No, no, no! Wolf's bane!
No. 161: What… exactly is wolf's bane?
Abner: Mm… I think it's literal. An end to the Langleys. The wolves' bane. Perhaps the stones would lead to our demise.
Solomon: Wrong. First off, the Langley crest is a bloodhound, not a wolf. Second, the design of the stones isn't flawed and certainly couldn't kill us all. Not under normal circumstances. It's clearly more symbolic. Wolf's bane represents misanthropy, Satan, perhaps?
No. II: Hmm… maybe.
Solomon: Well, what are your thoughts, Selene?
No. 116: Selene?
No. II: Oh, shut up. I have a lot of names. And… I don't know, Solomon. I really don't. I can't view things like Malachi can. Though I think [No. 3] 's right.
Solomon: Except it won't be that easy. The stones are designed to be used by one Langley or all Langleys. Not mixed and matched.
No. II: Of course. None of your inventions just "work." Oh well. Seems like I've got some more work to get done.
No. 611: Hang on, Malachi's an Augur, right?
Abner: Yes.
No. 611: So, what is his viewing medium?
Abner: Ah… an interesting question…
No. II: It's the Ouroboros.
