that didnt work.

abner dropped by to try and convince malachi to give us his stone and malachi just kept going onnnn and onnnnn and ONNNNN about imminent destruction impending dooms and the coming apocalypse. i hope i dont end up going that far off the augur deep end. or.... maybe it could be kinda cool to go around telling everyone that theyre certainly going to die at some point. i mean the success rate would be pretty high unless i run into elders.

also neat fun fact: apparently imminent destruction impending doom and the coming apocalypse are all different things according to malachi. he didnt really elaborate on how though... he just sorta stared at the ground flapping his hands and repeating that everything is coming to an end. hes definitely an odd duck even by langley standards but i sympathize with him. he cant help that hes at the extreme end of the augur spectrum. im sure if i was in his position id also be on the verge of overstimulation 24/7 too.

116 and 611 were just about ready to pry the stone from him but i dont think thats a good idea. itll probably just overload malachis anxiety and i dont really want to make this kid feel any more anxious than he already does. still... we need that stone and abner couldnt convince him. so..... i think maybe we need to go over his head a bit on this. i think this might be the only way to calm him down enough to talk with us. hopefully im right. im mostly going off of what abner has told me and 116s """cowboy intuition"""

hope it works or at least doesnt make things worse.

love you all!!! make sure to take your cups out of your rooms. <3
