Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: What is the Society of Light? It's not a mysticism organisation, mind you - just try googling it.
Clue 2: And what is the Sun?
Clue 3: A Yu-Gi-Oh deck (or, I suppose, Archetype) that uses tarot cards.
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Arcana Force
Explanation: The 'Society of Light' is a reference to the organisation with the same name in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime. Its leader, Sartorius, uses tarot cards - one of which being The Sun - as part of an archetype (card 'class') known as the Arcana Force.

We made it through the storm, but the aftermath has left us with quite a mess. Payroll came off pretty confidently yesterday, but I can’t help but feel like that was fueled by a lot of adrenaline. The Cafe took the worst of it—holes in the walls, shattered windows, and scorched furniture everywhere. The Manager and I have started to patch things up, but it’s going to take time to get everything back to normal again. And, while we were able to secure all of the Manager’s many, many, many trinkets and knickknacks before the fight, we overlooked my herb garden, which now looks like a warzone. It’s a shame, but we’ll replant and regrow.
The casualties for us were, thankfully, minimal, but they are pretty bad. New Guy took a nasty hit from Redman and is nursing a few broken ribs. Maydaian physiology heals pretty quickly… of course… New Guy being a real human boy will take much longer to heal. A day or two. I got some pretty bad burns dealing with Robert’s tricks. He turned our espresso machine against me. That was fun. It’s nothing too serious all in all. Still, it’s a stark reminder that things could’ve been much worse. The Manager’s putting on a brave face, but I know he’s keeping himself up at night planning for the next attack. Or… the next retaliation.
As for “why” the Dark did this… the jury’s still out. I don’t think it was a serious attack or anything… if it was, they wouldn’t have let up so easily. They were totally expecting us to not be here. I think Payroll breaking the Scrying Mirror was the point at which Umbra realized he is losing more than he is gaining by being here. But what artifact could we possibly have that’d help him form Ringan Storm into a corporal form? I think that’s what’s really keeping the Manager up at night. These are all his toys—but the thought that there’s something about them he doesn’t know? Scary.
Peace, love, healing, and of course, Joy!
