THE MANAGER IS BACK AND HE IS SAFE! This is simply the most excellent news! I was very, yes, VERY, worried that the Nuckelavee had killed him OR WORSE! What is worse? I do not know, but I assume the Nuckelavee would have some means of doing something, much, much worse to someone. Anyway, I believe it would simply be a very, very good idea to get the Manager up to speed with what has been happening here with the Nuckelavee. SO! The Nuckelavee arrived upon the shores of Palm Beach shortly after you went missing, and then the Astoria 23rd Agency showed up to deal with it, but then THEY LEFT! Yes! It is true! They LEFT! We still do not know why, but it has been up to us to keep the Nuckelavee from releasing its noxious breath of decay everywhere.

Luckily, the Nuckelavee, despite being a very, yes VERY, ancient demon and primordial force of malevolence, does, in fact, have a weakness: FRESH WATER! IT IS TRUE! The Nuckelavee’s inverted skin is both gross and very susceptible to fresh water. I suppose, perhaps, it is the salt in the saltwater that keeps him from dying in such a very disturbing state of invertedness. So! We have been employing a system of freshwater barriers to keep him in place. Not only that, but according to historical texts, burning seaweed is another way to keep the Nuckelavee at bay, so we have been very busy doing just that!

We are, essentially, buying time until Lord Leviathan can safely open the Locker again to lock the Nuckelavee back up. We have not seen much else of the Dark in our efforts to stop the nefarious sea demon, but it is a bit odd that they have yet to lend their buddy a hand. Were you keeping the Dark busy, Manager? I bet you were! That seems like something you would be very good at doing! In any case, the tide to the Locker should go out in just a few more hours, and then Lord Leviathan can lock him back up and put ONE MILLION of his STRONGEST Horrors on guard duty. That is simply what I would do, in any case.
