Clue 1: Have you seen the Menu Code?
Clue 2: Set it to Bacon, and then make a phone call.
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Al Crow
Explanation: The phone number, when translated from Menu Code set to Bacon, gives "Al Crow".
Summary of Receipt
The CaD also bugged the Temple, and managed to record some information. Crow seems to be planning to restore the Hauntaurskald, and the jewel was a Naitharian Amulet, whatever that means. It doesn’t seem to be too valuable, being ‘more trouble than it’s worth’ to retrieve it. Also, the Temple seems to be fighting four enemies at once. Crow also mentions the Halloween Gambit (trade a knight for a pawn, seemingly a bad tradeoff but the novelty can throw off many players) as well as a last resort to remove Friday/Weekend’s three restrictions.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 10/18/17
EMPLOYEES 125, 134, AND 224
RECEIPT: SALVATION05
STATUS: OPEN
"Toby has been leaving Radon Kits everywhere, like he owns the place."
The gift that keeps on giving! Did we mention that we left a butt-load of bugs around the Temple? Cuz we absolutely did that. And we got our first little juicy bit of news from one of them. The static was a bit heavy, but the CaDCom transcriber was able to parse most of it. Not sure if the static was somehow Al's doing, or Friday's or, just bad luck. There is still the strong possibility that Al let us get away with so much. But then again, seems like he's talking pretty openly here. So drink this coffee with a pinch of sweetener.

Weekend: What are you so worried about, Crow? All is lining up as we have planned. Soon the Hauntaurskald shall return to its prime state.
Al Crow: I'm not worried. Just overwhelmed is all. Fighting four enemies at once is rather... tiring. Not to mention those brats stole one of my Nathairian Amulets.
UNKNOWN: Want me to fetch it?
Al Crow: No. More trouble than it's worth. Although, we might still have a good use for it. What do you think? Could it be done?
UNKNOWN #2: It is possible, yes. But as you said, is it worth the trouble? So close to the promised hour?
Al Crow: Knight took pawn. Knight takes knight in return. How fitting. A Halloween Gambit.
UNKNOWN: We don't all play chess, Crow.
Al Crow: Obviously not. [Harsh static] you will return the favor. [Harsh static] will [Harsh static].
Weekend: And what will I do?
Al Crow: What can you do, honestly? I tried to loosen your terms to no avail. You are a rather weak piece, aren't you? Until your contract is better sorted, I have little use for you until, what, April?
Weekend: Forget the contract, Crow. You have a back door, don't you? Why can't-
Al Crow: Of last resort, Friday. Remember? Though, if our upcoming ritual goes according to plan... [Harsh Static]
E.O.T
So there you have it. Crow is working with two others, as we suspected from the files we found. That and, while it is kind of unclear what he meant by all that chess talk, it might indicate he plans to retaliate against us for all of the, you know, larceny we did. It also backs up the reports we found about them trying to sort of... "free" Friday from his contract that keeps him bound to Friday the 13th. Oh, and obviously, "UPCOMING RITUAL" doesn't sound too great, does it? Not sure when that ritual is going down, but if I had to wager a guess, "Halloween Gambit" might be more literal than figurative. In any case, we need to be on guard.
Love you all much,
Triple Threat
