STATUS: WORK OPPORTUNITY
Hey all, I know things have been… weird. And weirder now that there are—or have been—two Cafes. I had a chat with their version of me and something they’ve been sorely lacking is an active staff. Seeing as we have 15 members, and they have 4, I figured it would be great to help out and send a few of our employees over there every month or so.
This work opportunity is 100% voluntary and if no one wants to go that’s fine too. However, I think it’s in the best interests of everyone if both Cafes have a reasonable number of staff to help work them.
Now, I can understand the hesitation or suspicion any of you might have but I can assure you they are legit. Also, as you might’ve heard yesterday or this morning at the party, 26 will be leaving our Cafe permanently to work at their Cafe again. So, you’ll at least have a familiar face there if you choose to take the volunteer opportunity.
I would like to mention this work opportunity should not interfere with our day-to-day operations. The Florida CaD is dealing with some serious customers but we’re not going to involve ourselves directly unless things start heading West. It’s like 224 always quotes at me,
“Look, it doesn't take a genius to know that every organization thrives when it has two leaders. Go ahead, name a country that doesn't have two presidents. A boat that sets sail without two captains. Where would Catholicism be without the popes?”
So, with that in mind, we will be doing our best not to step on each other's toes. If you are interested in a Florida vacation just let me know and I can start scheduling it out.
