Summary of Receipt
26 leaves to assist the Other Cafe. As it turns out, it only has three - now four - members: their 8, Nikki Langley; Joy/Crystal; Jericho, and now 26. As it turns out, 26 used to be part of the Other Cafe before they had a falling out. 26 then left to join the Third Cafe. Also, apparently, the two 8s are going to make some announcement the next day.

It seems like after the Mrs. Pleasant incident, Jericho is going to be heading back to Florida. It would also seem that Manager 26 will be going with him for the foreseeable future. Apparently, 26 knew about the Florida Cafe for some time now and has been keeping it largely a secret from the rest of us. In fact, he worked there before he worked for us. I don’t think he knew that they were calling themselves a “Cafe and Diner” yet, but he has some sort of history with Joy, Jericho, and their *.
As for the legitimacy of the Florida Cafe and Diner, it seems like they have a legit claim to be considered a Cafe and Diner. Not that there’s ever been two concurrent Cafes before, so it’s a bit of uncharted territory, I suppose. Still, their * worked for the original and second Cafe and was fourth in line to be the new owner after the previous owner and ex-#44. Then I suppose their * met up with Jericho, Joy, and 26 sometime in the mid-2000s. The four of them became close allies and considered starting something like a Cafe and Diner, though, after a falling out, 26 left them and came to work for us.
Which reminds me, that’s their entire operation from the sound of it. Just their *, Jericho, Joy, and now Julius. We barely manage with our 16- er, 15 employees. I can’t imagine how they get anything done! I guess they must be either very good at making coffee or very good at making “coffee.” In any case, it sounds like the *s have made some sort of arrangement, and more will be announced tomorrow. Additionally, if you would like to enjoy some festive drinks for the season, come by the CaD lounge tomorrow morning for some Pumpkin Tea and Apple Cider as a bit of a farewell party.
