Summary of Receipt
62 is very annoyed that there are so many Mrs. Felts, mentioning that they’ve been pranking regular people. Twisted, dark pranks, but at least they’re not actively malicious to anyone but the CaD. Also, 44’s narrowed down the likely location of the ritual to the cemetery off Wisner Road, and 17’s been trying to convince any allies, like Mr. Clayton and Mr. Frederick, to help them. Mira Hamilton’s also helping out, but even then it’ll be a challenge to contain the Mrs. Felts and hope none of Crow’s other creations, like Mrs. Mill or Mrs. Armstrong, appear.

These Melonheads are really starting to get on my nerves. I suppose the bright side of things is that they haven’t been too outwardly malicious to tourists in the area. For all the weird occult science that has been done to them, they are still sort of kids. Sort of. From all the reports we’ve been able to find, they’ve only resorted to playing “pranks” on the locals. Dark, weird, and twisted pranks, but they haven’t attacked a regular tourist yet. They’ve attacked a few of our family, and they’ve definitely attacked us, but it’s probably been in self-defense. We have been rounding them up, after all.
We’ve done the best we can to set up traps and barriers around the town to catch the stragglers, though it seems like Dr. Crow had a never-ending supply of Melonheads. I can only assume that whatever Halloween ritual the Melonheads have been putting together requires only one Melonhead to activate, so… it might be a pointless effort to keep catching and detaining them. At least there will be fewer of them to contend with tomorrow. #44 has also narrowed down the most likely place for their ritual, the cemetery off Wisner Road. While Dr. Crow himself is not buried there, most cemeteries act as weak spots in the boundary lines between the Flipside and Otherside.
I’m expecting tomorrow night to be a bit of a long one. #17 has been busy trying to rally his own forces in the area. Last I heard, he was in talks with Mr. Clayton, though I’m not sure what good he’ll be. #17 has also mentioned potentially having Mr. Frederick join the fray. We’ve also got Mira Hamilton with us. I assume we’ll be fine, but it’ll be a fight, that’s for sure. All we can do now is keep trapping as many Melonheads as possible and hope none of Dr. Crow’s other experiments, like Mrs. Mill or Mrs. Armstrong show up.
