Summary of Receipt

62 decides to continue staying at the CaD to be the tech guy. He also scans the hallucinogenic funk Masoch produced. It’s obviously from the Morningstar, but also positive in all other planes save for Mayda. It also seems to be slightly Elder-aligned, namely Nephilistic Elder. He also sets up the Ice Machine that Hyer gave them to track Masoch. Lastly, he runs it through Crow’s Dimensional Sequencer (no clue what that is), but it doesn’t give anything except for yellow static and humming. This Sequencer seems to be able to give clues about monsters’ pasts, and uses something called ‘Crow’s Gray Goo’ (possibly the remains of Miss. Xulfa from Open Doors) to deconstruct…something.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 9/12/19
MANAGER 62
RECEIPT: MISSMASOCH05
STATUS: OPEN

Just in case it needs to be said, I'm not going anywhere. I mean, I don't really do "field work" anyway. So, yeah, I'm happy to keep doing the data and espionage stuff while you guys go fight demons and whatever. Plus, I don't think I can go back to Fliptech after using Othertech, and this "job" is probably the best source of Othertech, outside of working for Sierra. Still, I'd rather take my Othertech with a nice coffee. Speaking of Othertech, I've run the remaining Funk sample (that 53 did not inhale) through various tests and tech. The Blood sample is… interesting… to say the least.

As expected, the primary affinity is for Morningstar, but the only negative reading was for Mayda. Not only that, Miss. Masoch has a 2.116 EE Reading. Now, that isn't a colossal reading, but anything past 0 in the E categories is kind of a big deal. It indicates that Miss. Masoch is… not entirely… well, I was going to say "human," but that's sort of obvious… She's not wholly mortal. Which, yeah, that's not great news.

I also set the Ice Machine up to track Masoch, so if she starts coming towards us, we should be able to have some warning. Assuming Masoch's Funk is linked to Masoch, anyway. There is a chance that it might be its own sort of entity, if that makes sense. But where there is Masoch, I'm guessing there will be Funk. It'd be great if we could get a Funk-less Blood sample of Masoch to compare against.

I also ran the Funk through Crow's Dimensional Sequencer to see if it might reveal something about Masoch's past. The result was just some yellow static with what might have been some humming. It's possible that I didn't run the machine correctly or that it needed to destroy the sample to properly sequence it. Of course, we don't have any of Crow's Gray Goo to actually do the deconstructing part, so it's probably a dead end unless we just need a fresher sample. When I ran the Funk sample again after a few hours, the humming was fainter, so the Funk is either decaying on its own, or some of it is escaping every time we open the jar.
