Summary of Receipt
71 connected 35 and the Owner to the Astral Plane, and from there the Owner was able to enter 35’s dreams. To 35 and the Owner, the dreams were like living in a video, able to pause and unpause it at will. After messing around with the dream, it started to change, with things like ‘“Do not go to Fry’s,” “Debt comes due October 31st, 1997,” or “There’s more than one number that comes after 7. Three burning brightly as one.”’ being broadcasted. They’ll try again next Friday once 71’s tweaked some stuff.

So… that was very strange. I suppose the good news is that everything went as planned. Apparently, it’s quite a feat to have someone else tap into your dreams, but however #71 did it, it worked. While I was sleeping, I entered a sort of… neutral space. #71 called it the “astral plane,” and in there, I was able to meet up with the Owner. Then we sort of went back into my dreams though it was very surreal. It was like my dreams were frozen, and we were more like passive observers.
Every so often, the Owner would have me sort of “unpause” the dream to see things play out. This time, the dream was a normal one, as far as I could tell. It was just my school. No strange entities or booming voices. At least, at first. After we saw a very mundane look at my day-to-day school life, the Owner suggested agitating the dreamscape a bit to see if there was anything else lurking around. Sort of like turning a stone over to check for bugs. So, we went around purposefully messing with the dream without going so far as to destabilize it and wake me up. Stuff like breaking windows and spray painting on lockers.
Eventually, the dream did get, uh, agitated, I think, is how the Owner described it. And it started throwing up some oddities. The good news was that there didn’t seem to be any foreign entities. The only thing that caught the Owner’s attention was every so often, the school’s PA system would send out these sorts of warnings. Things like, “Do not go to Fry’s,” “Debt comes due October 31st, 1997,” or “There’s more than one number that comes after 7. Three burning brightly as one.” I couldn’t make sense of them, but the Owner seemed to be taking pretty extensive notes. We’ll try and delve into the astral plane again next Friday after #71 makes some adjustments.
